260,000) is located in Southcentral Alaska on the shores of Cook
Inlet. The Municipality of Anchorage is a unique urban
environment situated in the heart of wilderness. Almost half of
Alaska’s residents live in this area, surrounded by miles of

Fairbanks, Alaska

(area pop. 82,200)
sits at the
confluence of the Chena and Tanana Rivers, between the White
Mountains and the Alaska Range. The campus site was named Troth
Yeddha’ by the Tanana Athabsacans, and served as a traditional
gathering place for Alaska’s indigenous people. The city is the
regional hub for Alaska’s Interior and the North Slope.
